Kenyan opposition leader Raila Odinga withdraws from Oct. 26 election re-run
Kenya's President Uhuru Kenyatta says the new election will go ahead despite the opposition candidate's withdrawal.
The Supreme Court stunned the nation last month when it annulled the August 8 election victory by President Kenyatta, citing what it called widespread irregularities in the counting process.
