The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) is thrilled to invite you to register to participate in our Online Activist Academy, a self-paced course tailored for activists and civil society leaders who defend human rights and promote democracy within authoritarian regimes.

This comprehensive course, spanning 10 modules, is designed to provide participants with valuable skills and theoretical knowledge to increase the impact of their advocacy efforts. All the modules will include closed captions in English, Arabic, Spanish, and French.

The Online Activist Academy allows us to share knowledge and mentor activists in a virtual format.  Knowledge is power, and dictators know this, which is why they restrict educational opportunities from their citizens,” Senior Program Officer Jhanisse Vaca Daza said. “Education, in the context of democracy defense, is the baseline upon which citizens can build a future, free, and democratic society. The Online Activist Academy, given its online format and translation to many languages, is thus a tool for nonviolent education that supports the defense of democracy worldwide.”

To secure your place and obtain free access to the course, email onlineactivistacademy@hrf.org. Please register by Nov. 15 due to limited availability.
